Our story
We are Justin and Rebekah Wright, serving in Rome with MaryEllen and Franklin. Our family moved here in 2025 to begin missionary service.
Life in Rome
Our life here includes Italian study, school, church, neighborhood relationships, hospitality, and ministry partnerships.
These ordinary settings are where we are learning the culture, forming friendships, and becoming part of life in Rome. We are committed to long-term life and service here, growing in the language and raising our children between cultures.
One year later
These family portraits were taken at the Colosseum exactly one year apart. They mark a year of growing children, growing language, deeper relationships, and continued commitment to life and ministry in Rome.
Meet the Wrights
Justin is often the first to start a conversation, meet someone new, or see a possible connection. His interests include personal evangelism, theology, communication, photography, and filmmaking.
He is developing his documentary skills with the hope of telling careful stories about faith and life in Europe.
People tend to trust Rebekah quickly. Her patient presence and thoughtful care help her build deep friendships with women, children, and families.
Her biblical-counseling studies are a natural extension of her desire to listen well and care for people thoughtfully.
MaryEllen and Franklin are growing up between cultures and learning the language and life of Rome alongside us.
We desire to disciple them faithfully and cultivate a home marked by joy, worship, stability, hospitality, and belonging.
