Chilean reporting identifies 82 religious organizations constituted in three months
Ex-Ante’s October 11 review of Chile’s official gazette identified 82 religious entities constituted between June and August, with numerous evangelical churches and ministries represented.
The reporting records 36 constitutions in June, 28 in July, and 18 in August across 13 regions. The organizations included churches, missions, and ministries.
The article also cites the 2024 census, in which 16.3% of people aged 15 and older identified as evangelical or Protestant. That is a measure of affiliation rather than participation.
