France ends the experimental UK one-in, one-out Channel arrangement
France confirmed that the experimental Channel returns arrangement would end as the United Kingdom stopped accepting new cases.
Reports published September 30 said no new cases would be accepted and the arrangement was due to expire October 1. This was a later and separate development from the September 26 Munich migration meeting.
Contemporary reports also noted lower Channel crossings, but the change cannot be attributed to the pilot without stronger causal evidence.
