Reports published September 24 and 25 cited 13,234 adult baptisms, up 28% in one year and more than triple the 2016 total, plus 8,152 baptisms among adolescents ages 11–17. Adults ages 18–25 formed the largest adult cohort.
Infant baptisms reportedly declined from roughly 380,000 in 2000 to about 150,000 in 2024. Baptism counts document sacramental participation but do not establish retention, continuing practice, or a national revival.
