Cross-continental mission school equips new workers in Europe

An IMB–Brazilian Baptist partnership is training missionaries from Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe for cross-cultural work in Europe and beyond.

The Immersion Mission School developed after Brazil’s Junta de Missões Mundiais asked IMB teams for European-context training and team pathways. Cohorts have included participants from Brazil, Colombia, the Middle East, Portugal, and Spain.

IMB reported 232 gospel conversations and six professions of faith during ten outings in one cohort, followed by participant reports of baptisms and new study groups after returning to their fields. Those outcomes are program and participant reports rather than independently audited results.
