Angola mission reports more than 5,700 baptisms in two phases

The Angola Coastal Mission reported 3,176 baptisms in a July–August campaign after 2,588 in an earlier phase, a combined denominational total of 5,764.

The second phase ran from July 17 to August 1 across Benguela and Cuanza Sul and followed a June 27–July 4 phase. Adventist News Network attributed the figures to mission executive secretary Bonifácio Manuel Tchiombe.

The totals are unusually specific and tied to named districts, but they remain internal Seventh-day Adventist reporting rather than an independent audit. The events predate the September 14 brief and should not be read as a same-week development.
