Anglican–Lutheran conference asks how migration changes the church itself

A Hamburg conference focused on how migration, language, and national identity are reshaping Anglican and Lutheran congregations.

The announcement was published June 3 and updated July 27 for a conference held September 11–15. Its questions concerned Christians leaving homelands, linguistic identity, and churches serving increasingly diverse societies.

The announcement documents an institutional research agenda, not findings. Papers, recordings, or proceedings would be needed before presenting conclusions.
